President
Janelle Winford is the Divisional Senior Vice President and Claims Manager of the Great American Insurance Company’s Agribusiness Division. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati. She maintains the Associate in Claims designation as well as the AFIS (Agribusiness Farm Insurance Specialist).
Janelle also serves as the President of NAAIA – Cincinnati. She is a graduate of the We Lead (Women Excel) program provided by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is a Queen City Gamechanger and a member of APIW.
Janelle is a proud associate within the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program and a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. She serves as a mentor to many emerging insurance professionals within the industry.
Her hobbies include reading and discovering beautiful beaches to explore.

With over five years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, Joshua Lawrence has built a strong reputation for delivering strategic risk management solutions to businesses across a wide range of sectors.
Josh began his career as a Producer with USI Insurance Services, where he honed his expertise in crafting customized insurance programs and advocating for client needs.
Currently, Josh serves as a Commercial Insurance Producer at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) — the #1 insurance brokerage in the United States and 5th largest in the world. At MMA, he continues to focus on helping businesses navigate complex insurance landscapes with confidence, offering tailored strategies backed by one of the most powerful risk management networks globally.
A proud member and acting Treasurer of the Cincinnati National African American Insurance Association, Josh is committed to promoting diversity, excellence, and innovation within the industry. His passion lies in building meaningful client relationships and creating long-term value through thoughtful insurance planning and support.

Marion Townes is a distinguished leader in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Vice President and Branch Manager of ERIE’s Columbus, Ohio branch. With a career marked by remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication, Marion has established herself as a prominent figure in the field.
Marion’s journey with ERIE began in 2018 when she joined as a District Sales Manager (DSM) in Kentucky, after successfully completing ERIE’s rigorous DSM training program. Recognized for her exceptional performance, she swiftly rose through the ranks, earning a promotion to DSM in Illinois in 2020, where she significantly contributed to the company’s growth and success.
Her stellar leadership and commitment to excellence have been acknowledged by industry experts, as evidenced by her selection for the prestigious class of Emerging Leaders by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) in 2023 and as a graduate of the 2024 National Executive Leadership Academy from The Advanced Leadership Institute (TALI) and Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business.
Before her tenure at ERIE, Marion honed her skills in various capacities at Farmers Insurance, where she held roles in marketing, training, and sales management. Prior to that, she spent six years with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where she excelled as a manager.
Marion’s professional journey is underpinned by a strong educational foundation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Furthermore, she has continued to expand her expertise by obtaining the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marion is a veteran of the U.S. Army, where she attained non-commissioned officer status. Her military experience instilled in her invaluable leadership qualities and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
With her proven track record of building strong relationships with agents and driving sales success across multiple territories, Marion Townes continues to make significant contributions to the insurance industry, inspiring others with her exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to excellence.

Tellyshia holds two associate degrees from Ivy Tech Community College, one in Culinary Arts and the other in Hospitality and Food Management. I got my start in the insurance industry in October 2023 as a part-time producer at the Brooks Insurance Group, an independent agency in Bedford, Ohio. While at BIG, I obtained my P&C license and learned the fundamentals of the industry. In April 2024 I had the opportunity to work full-time as an Allstate Market Sales Associate. At Allstate, I specialized in homeowners and auto insurance sales throughout Ohio. Starting in December 2024 I transitioned to account manager at Jalen Hudson State Farm agency. This move gave me the opportunity to obtain my Life & Health license while giving me the ability to provide insurance in Ohio and Kentucky. I am currently joining State Farm’s Agent Aspirant program, which will aid me in accomplishing my goal of agency ownership.
